Blue peas are actually green in colour and can be sprouted and ready to eat in just 2-3 days. They produce a sweet, crunchy and nutritious shoot that are rich in vitamins and minerals. They can be grown together with other sprouting seeds such as chickpeas, blue peas, fenugreek, red, green and black lentils. Sprout combos are great as a snack and can easily be added to most cold and warm meals – use them in soups, stir-fries and omelettes or include them as a side serving to a main. Don’t be afraid to experiment!
